Since the establishment of hydro-metallurgical waste damp Boršt of Žirovski vrh uranium mine, its instability is regularly being monitored. The dynamics of displacements was closely related to hydrological conditions. In this graduation thesis the measurement results of geodetic network Plaz have been used, from 1988 to 2006, when the last observation series prior to the beginning of the remediation work at the landfill were made. A method of building 3D animation of landslide Boršt is presented, from data preparation to the production of individual models and then final product. The work also describes natural neighbor interpolation, which was used to make elevation models of individual observational series. The interpretation of the foundations of 3D modeling and visualisation is included with a general review of the used software package 3DS Max. Built model serves to facilitate visualisation of the movement of the landslide Boršt.
