Many of the older public buildings are built of either brick or stone. Before beginning potential remedial works on these buildings it is necessary to determine the most appropriate way to address them taking into account technical as well as and financial perspective. In the initial part of the thesis the condition of the considered building and the selected variant solutions are presented. In the second part, the inventory of the construction works for reconstruction of considered building is created and cost of constructing new building is estimated. At the end both solutions are compared from technical and financial perspective.
