Analiza tehnologij in tržišča komercialnih satelitov visokih ločljivosti za opazovanje površja Zemlje : diplomska naloga

Opravljen je bil podroben pregled delovanja in tehnoloških zmožnosti optičnih satelitov s trenutno najvišjimi prostorskimi ločljivostmi. Zbrani so bili tehnični podatki obravnavanih satelitov, med katerimi so najbolj dovršeni sateliti operaterja DigitalGlobe. V kontekstu zgodovinskega razvoja, so v drugem delu obravnavane storitve, ki jih vršijo obravnavani ponudniki visokoločljivostnih posnetkov. Poleg nakupa osnovnega posnetka, ima danes uporabnik na vol jo široko paleto specifičnih produktov in storitev, glede na njegove potrebe v zvezi z kvaliteto, časom dostave posnetkov itd. Opravljena je primerjava cen in širok spekter tipov naročil, katerih se lahko poslužujemo. Na koncu je predstavljeno trenutno stanje industrije visokoločljivostnega daljinskega zaznavanja. Trendi, ki se pojavljajo zaradi tehnološkega napredka, vključevanja novih ponudnikov in zmanjšanega državnega financiranja botrujejo k večjemu naboru ponudbe storitev, večji ažurnosti in boljši ločljivosti posnetkov.

• Title: Analisys of technologies and marketplace of commercial high-resolution Earth observation satellites

Abstract

A detailed review of technological features and capabilities of currently most advanced optical satellites in terms of spatial resolution was done. Technical data of selected satellites was gathered among witch, the most advanced ones are operated by company DigitalGlobe. In the second part of this analysis we reviewed the available services of individual high-resolution imagery providers in the context of historical development. Besides purchase of basic images, a user can choose among a wide variety of different products and services, depending on his needs in terms of quality and delivery of images etc. A comparison of prices and different types of orders available to the end user was made. In the last part, a review of current state of high-resolution remote sensing market is made. Trends that are occurring due to technological advancements, participation of new service providers and a decrease in governmental financing, is contribut ing to wider range of available services, faster delivery and better accuracy of imagery.
