Abstract
Energija postaja zaradi prekomernega izčrpavanja neobnovljivih energetskih virov vse bolj dragocena.

Title:The impact of the exterior wall structure on the fulfilment of the physical damands of construction
Abstract:
Due to excessive depletion of non-renewable energy resources, energy is becoming all the more valuable. Buildings are also among the major energy consumers. In order to achieve better energy efficiency of the buildings, the insulation of the building should be well protected. In this diploma thesis i will analyze exterior walls in terms of heat transfer and diffusion of water vapor through the structural assemblies of the exterior wall on which will be applied the contact-insulation façade. This is the type of facade system, which is most commonly used in everyday practice and it is also the most affordable. In the first part I will calculate the minimum required thickness of thermal insulation in the structural part of the outer wall, to satisfy the regulatory rules. The results obtained in the first part serve as a basis for calculations in the second and third part of the research. In the second part of the research I will identify what are the permissible values of relative humidity in the room, so that within the structural part of the outer wall there is no occurrence of condensation of water vapor in the winter. In the third section, I will present the research design sets of the outer wall compared with the regulatory rules and identify the suitability of individual structural components of the outer wall. In this part of the research the solutions are provided, showing the ways in which you can ensure that, throughout the year, the condensation of the water vapor within the most inappropriate constructional complexes of the outer wall can be avoided.
