Influence of construction on durability of children's play equipment was studied. It was found out that the construction has an important influence on durability of play equipment. Apart to this, the construction has its impact on esthetics and functionality of the play equipment. On contact surfaces it comes to excessive moisturizing, deformation and damages. These are prevented by profiling carrying boards: protecting the fronts with special covers to obviate moisturizing, deformations and damages. Columns can also be fixed on the base with steel socles, fastened to concrete bases. The construction of play equipment demands attention not to have sharp edges because of the safety of the playing children: the elements can be taken apart to offer the possibility to be changed or totally renovated.
