Abstract
Diplomska naloga opisuje uporovno točkovno varjenje, ki je predvsem razširjeno avtomatizirano varjenje v raznih industrijah. Diplomska naloga je sestavljena iz štirih delov. V prvem delu je predstavljeno podjetje Resistec UPR d.o.o. & Co. k.d., ki izdeluje žične upore in ostale komponente za avtomobilsko industrijo. V drugem delu je opisan princip uporovnega točkovnega varjenja, ter vsi parametri, ki jih je potrebno upoštevati, da bo varjenje raznih materialov uspešno. Tretji del vsebuje opredelitev problema pri procesu uporovnega točkovnega varjenja in obstoječega varilnika, postopek nadgradnje varilnika za avtomatizacijo procesa, ki bo doprinesla krajši čas varjenja kosov in nadzor nad pravilnim odlaganjem dobrih in slabih kosov. Ta del vsebuje tudi opis uporabljenega varilnika, potek procesa, izdelavo ogrodja in krmilja ter izdelavo načrtov in programa. Opisan je tudi potek zagona naprave, kjer je razvidno, kako uspešni smo bili pri sami izgradnji naprave. Četrti del pa zajema analizo stanja pred in po nadgradnji varilnika, investicijske stroške in ovrednotenje stroškov varjenja. Na koncu je zbrana tehnična dokumentacija varilnika, izvorna koda programa in navodila za uporabo, preizkušanje in vzdrževanje.

Title:Resistance spot welding – Modification of RVP26 Welding Equipment
Abstract:
The thesis describes resistance spot welding, which is particularly widespread automated welding in various industries. The thesis consist of four parts. The first part represents the company Resistec UPR d.o.o. & Co. k.d., which manufactures wire resistors and other components for the automobile industry. The second part describes the principle of resistance spot welding with all the parameters, which must be observed for a successful welding of different materials. The third part contains the definition of the problem in the process of resistance spot welding and welding equipment, my procedure of modifying the welding equipment for automating the process, which will contribute to shorter welding time of pieces and control on the correct disposal of the good and the bad pieces. This part also includes a description of the welding machine we used, the flow process, the manufacture of the frame and the steering equipment, and making plans and programs. It also describes the start-up device, where it is seen how successful we were in the construction of the welding equipment. The fourth part includes an analysis of the condition before and after the upgrade of the welding equipment, investment costs and an evaluation of the welding costs. At the end are collected technical documentation of welder, program code and instructions for use, testing and maintenance.
