Abstract
V magistrskem delu skušamo rešiti problematiko optimizacije postavitve brezžičnih baznih postaj v LTE omrežju s pomočjo orodja za optimizacijo, ki uporablja evolucijski algoritem. Optimizacija postavitve baznih postaj z naraščanjem števila komponent omrežja postane zelo kompleksen problem, zato je nujna uporaba avtomatskih optimizacijskih postopkov. Tu smo predstavili metodo, ki nam s pomočjo evolucijskega algoritma poišče minimalno potrebno število baznih postaj in njihovo optimalno geografsko postavitev. Predlagana metoda je primerna za začasna komunikacijska omrežja, kot je omrežje za komunikacijo v sili v primeru naravne nesreče. Prednost predlagane metode v primerjavi z obstoječimi rešitvami je v hitrosti optimizacije, kar bi v praksi pripomoglo k hitrejši vzpostavitvi omrežja. V delu se osredotočamo na optimizacijo komunikacijskega omrežja v sili, npr. v primeru naravnih nesreč. Title:BASE STATIONS PLACEMENT OPTIMIZATION IN WIRELESS LTE NETWORKS FOR EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS
Abstract:
In this thesis problem of base station placement optimization for LTE network is being discussed. Tool for optimization with evolution algorithm has been developed. Optimization of base station placement tends to get a complex problem with increasing number of network components; therefore it is important to use the optimization tool for solving it. Represented method for optimization uses evolution algorithm to find minimum number of required base stations and their geographic location to cover arbitrary area and meet the need for bandwidth capacity. This method is suitable for placement of base stations in temporary networks such as in case of natural disaster. Main advantage of presented method is ease of use and speed of calculation, which makes it usable in real case scenarios to speed up the process of wireless network establishment.
