Abstract
Prvo poglavje se nanaša na definicijo malih hidroelektrarn, lokacijo, ki mora ustrezati pogojem izgradnje elektrarne, in ekološkim merilom. Z okoljskimi ovirami nakazujemo na problematiko pri izgradnji. Opisujemo tudi asinhronski in sinhronski generator ter elektro in strojno opremo. Naslednje poglavje je tema naloge – delovanje sistema male hidroelektrarne Skomarje. Opisano je delovanje sistema na splošno, zagon elektrarne v ročnem ter avtomatskem režimu obratovanja. V tem delu pridemo do tematike problema pri regulaciji nivoja. Sistem vodenja male hidroelektrarne je ključna funkcija procesa, da lahko deluje neodvisno od okolice. V tem delu opisujemo še starejši krmilnik in novega, s katerim smo sistem nadgradili. Nadgradili smo tudi nadzorni sistem SCADA. Opisan je prikaz in delovanje nadzornega sistema. Zaključimo z ugotovitvijo, da je bila nadgradnja uspešna, daljinsko upravljanje z objektom je še dodatno doprineslo h kvaliteti proizvodnje električne energije.

Title:Upgrade of the control system for the small hydropower plant Skomarje
Abstract:
The first chapter brings the definition of a small hydropower plant and its location that has to satisfy the conditions of construction and ecological standards. With environment barriers we try to emphasize the problems of construction. Asynchronous and synchronous generator, are also described, as well as the electro and hardware equipment. The second chapter discusses the main subject – the operating system of a small hydropowerplant Skomarje. We describe the system in general, the process of powerplant start up, manual and automatic operating. In this part of the thesis, we get to the problem of level control. Control system of a small hydropowerplant is the key function of the process so it can work independently from the enviroment. We also describe operation of the older controler and the new one with which we upgraded it. We also upgraded the supervisory system SCADA, whose preformance is also presented.
