Abstract
Diplomsko delo prikazuje poenostavljen sistem bočnega parkiranja na modelu vozila. Sistemi za bočno parkiranje se že pojavljajo v avtomobilski industriji in so zmožni detekcije praznega parkirnega mesta ter vožnje v parkirni prostor. Prednost takega sistema, vgrajenega v vozilo, je v tem, da lajša bočno parkiranje, ki ga mnogi neizkušeni vozniki ne obvladajo.

Title:Simplified parallel parking system
Abstract:
This Diploma thesis presents a simplified parallel-parking system for a car model. Parallel-parking systems are emerging in the car industry as a standard, and are capable of detecting an empty parking place and parking the vehicle into that parking place. The advantage of this system, embedded in the vehicle, is the simplification of parallel parking, which quite a lot of inexperienced drivers are not mastering.
