Abstract
Cilj diplomskega dela je bil razviti relativno poceni in preprost nadzorni sistem, ki bi lahko služil v skoraj katerem koli prostoru v namene preprečevanja goljufij, kraje itd. Delo je potekalo na naslednji način: najprej sem si zagotovil potrebno opremo, in sicer računalnik Raspberry Pi ter spletno kamero Logitech C270, ki sem ju nato priklopil v internetno omrežje, sledila pa je namestitev operacijskega sistema Raspbian in programa Motion na Raspberry Pi. Rezultati so pokazali, da nadzorni sistem deluje in tudi nudi nekatere prednosti, kot so: dobro prepoznavanje nenavadnih situacij, ki pritegnejo pozornost, nizka cena in preprosta uporaba. Hkrati ima nadzorni sistem tudi nekatere pomanjkljivosti, in sicer sistem ni večkrat preizkušen s strani več uporabnikov in v različnih situacijah, spletna kamera pa tudi ni odporna proti vodi. Vendar bo te pomanjkljivosti v prihodnosti možno izboljšati.

Title:VIDEO SURVEILLANCE SYSTEM BASED RASPBERRY PI PLATFORM
Abstract:
The goal of my dissertation was to develop relatively inexpensive and simple surveillance system which could be used in almost any area in order to prevent crimes. My work went on per next manner. Firstly I acquired all the necessary equipment, namely computer Raspberry Pi and webcam Logitech C270, which was then connected to the internet. Afterwards I installed operating system Raspbian and program Motion on Raspberry Pi. The results show that my surveillance system works and has some advantages, for example it is inexpensive, simple to use, it recognizes well unusual situation, which attract attention and so on. On the other hand my system has also some shortcomings, for example system has not yet been tested by multiple users and/or in different situations, also the webcam is not waterproof. All of the shortcomings can be improved in the future.
