Abstract
Pri jelki, navadni smreki, bukvi, navadnem divjem kostanju in lipi smo z Resistographom F500 preiskovali stanje lesa oz. debelino zdravega lesa v živem drevesu. V raziskavo smo vključili posekana mestna drevesa z območja Ljubljana Center in vzorce sveze posekanih dreves s skladišča hlodovine. Resistograph F500 je pri vseh drevesnih vrstah zabeležil prisotnost ranega in kasnega lesa, grč, kompresijskega lesa pri iglavcih, kolesivosti, reakcijskih con, bariernih con, poranitvenega in razkrojenega lesa. Prisotnosti skorje, diskoloriranega lesa, sušine in deorientacije tkiva nismo zabeležili pri vseh preiskovanih vrstah. Podatki, ki jih pridobimo z Resistographom, so nam lahko v veliko pomoč pri odkrivanju pojava in obsegu napak v stoječih drevesih. Pri tem je pomembno, da napravo in dobljene podatke uporablja primerno izobražena in izkušena oseba, saj lahko v nasprotnem primeru pride do napačnih interpretacij in posledično nepravilnih odločitev.

Title:Determination of the thickness of sound wood in a living tree with the Resistograph F500 : visokošolski strokovni študij
Abstract:
Wood conditions and sound wood thickness were determined with Resistograph F500 in living trees of 2 conifers (silver fir, Norway spruce) and some broadleaved tree species with diffuse porous wood (beech, horse chestnut and lime). Samples were obtained from felled urban trees of the City of Ljubljana and from freshly cut trees from a log storage place. Resistograph F500 detected occurrence of early and late wood, compression wood, ring shakes, reaction zones, barrier zones, wound-wood and decayed wood in all the investigated species. Occurrence of the bark, discoloured wood and dehydration was not detected in all of the investigated trees. Data obtained using Resistograph F500 are helpful in detection of occurrence and determination of the extent of defects in living trees. The device should be used by educated and experienced persons to avoid misinterpretations and consequently wrong decisions.
