Abstract
V nalogi smo ugotavljali fungicidno delovanje posameznih sestavin novejših pripravkov na osnovi bakra, etanolamina, kvartarne amonijeve spojine, oktanojske kisline in bora. Pri obeh testih smo uporabili 3 vrste gliv, in sicer: belo hišno gobo (Antrodia vaillantii), navadno tramovko (Gloeophyllum trabeum) in pisano ploskocevko (Trametes versicolor). Prišli smo do zaključkov, da med posameznimi sestavinami zaščitnega pripravka CuEOQ ni sinergističnih interakcij. Najnižja inhibitorna koncentracija najbolj učinkovite komponente zaščitnega pripravka določa tudi učinkovitost celotnega pripravka.

Title:Fungicidal properties of individual active ingredients in copper-ethanolamine based preservative solutions : graduation thesis (university studies)
Abstract:
Copper compounds are one of the most frequently used wood preservatives. Insufficient fixation and appearance of copper tolerant fungi are the most important weakness of these preservatives. Combination of ethanolamine and octanoic acid replaced chromium as copper fixative in preservative solutions. Boron and quaternary ammonium compounds serve as secondary fungicides against copper tolerant fungi. The purpose of our research was to elucidate fungicidal properties of all individual active ingredients: copper, ethanolamine, octanoic acid, quaternary ammonium compound and boron. The main goal was to estimate, whether there are any synergistic or antagonistic interactions among different ingredients of preservative solution CuEOQ. Interactions were studied using non-standard mini block procedure on spruce wood specimens, and by screening test method on nutrient medium. 3 wood decay fungi: Antridia vaillantii, Gloeophyllum trabeum and Trametes versicolor were used for these experiments. Our results showed no synergistic interactions among individual ingredients. The lowest inhibitory concentration defined the effectiveness of the preservative solution.
