Abstract

Abstract:
By analyzing the content of printed media in Slovenia, we have tried to explore how much and how they report on Croatia, or, what is their perception of Croatia and create a picture of it, and it passed on to their readers. We compared the results with the media in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia and Serbia to establish the difference in substantive and quantitative presentation of Croatia in the European Union Member State and in countries outside its borders. The survey results show significant differences in the reporting of the Slovenian media and the media in other countries of former Yugoslavia. On one side is visible above the level of professionalism in reporting, on the other hand, less interest in developments in Croatia and the Croatian interest in the European Union and bilateral relations.
