Abstract

Abstract:
The article examines aesthetic relationship between human body and secondary cultural object, which can be found during the communication process. Individuals only rarely establish contacts directly by using only their own bodies. High level of intimacy is not always easy to establish, and it is not always appreciated too. That is why individuals use secondary cultural objects, such as cloths, as a vehicle for carrying various cultural meanings. Although fashion is not recognized as an artistic form and in addition the activity of fashion designers is perceived as creation of material conditions of an individual's pleasure, its aesthetic character cannot be overlooked. When fashion is invited by art to join, than we are witness of entrance of everyday life into the world of art. As an example body art performance of imitation of fashion show at gallery Kapelica is depicted.
