Partition walls were researched to establish the effect of different composites on their bending strength and modulus of elasticity. Gypsum fibreboards, gypsum cardboards, concrete-fibreboard panels, and oriented strength boards (OSB) were used in different compositions. The goal of research was to acces which construction has the highest bending strength and modulus of elasticity. Both properties are primarily influenced by materials used, and by composition of the board. OSB composition has the highest bending strength and the lowest modulus of elasticity. Gypsum and concrete compositions have less strength and bend less than compositions containing long wooden fibres. Composition consisiting of a card gypsum board and fibre gypsum board (G=MV board) is the weakest. It was found out that the bending strength and modulus of elasticity enlarge by increasing of the density (mass volume) from 1.0 to 1.3g/cm3.
