Abstract
Delavnice so zaradi svoje zgoščenosti in poenostavljenosti bolj odprta možnost pridobivanja različnih znanj in kompetenc.

Title:
Workshop Week, a system to encourage interdisciplinarity within the study programmes of ALUO
Abstract:
Workshop week is a form of educational work that already exists in many schools and colleges as a part of the preparation for the (first) school year, but it is also occasionally present during the year. The benefits of this experience include working with students with different skills - from other disciplines, thereby increasing interdisciplinarity, working with practitioners who present a realistic picture of the work on the market, intensive practical engagement in a short space of time, exploring other areas of art and design, the challenge of leading and working in a creative team, etc. At the Academy of Fine Arts and Design of University of Ljubljana, this type of work has not yet been implemented, but in the past, the first year students from all departments were combined together. However, according to the research, this solution is not satisfactory for the current students. The workshops are a more open way of acquiring different skills, because they are more concentrated. The project phase was made with the insights of the research in mind, where these were transformed into a user journey and later a service blueprint that shows how the processes work and can be used in the future.
