Abstract
Z analizo ranljivosti lahko razvijamo in vključujemo najbolj primerne strategije prilagajanja in blaženja vplivov podnebnih sprememb in zagotovimo varnost preskrbe s hrano in trajnostno kmetovanje. V diplomskem delu predstavim, kako so analize ranljivosti opravljene in zakaj so pomembne v kmetijstvu.

Title:Analysis of agriculture vulnerability to climate change
Abstract:
Agriculture is increasingly more vulnerable to impacts of climate change, which affects food and water security, the livelihoods of farmers and agricultural ecosystems. Due to antropogenic actions, we can observe rising air temperatures, altered precipitation patterns and an increased number of extreme weather events (heat waves, heavy precipitation, droughts, floods), all of which affect agriculture. Vulnerability assessments help us understand the effects of climate hazarads on specific systems and show their reactions. A vulnerabiltiy assessment consists of exposure, sensitivity and adaptive capacity assessment of the system, which can greatly vary depending on the observed location. With vulnerability assessment we can develop and implement the most suitable adaptation and mitigation strategies to address the impacts of climate change, ensuring food security and sustainable agriculture. In this thesis, I present how vulnerability assessments are conducted and why they are important in agriculture. Additionally, three vulnerability assessments conducted in different locations and extent are presented and explained how they were utilized.
