Abstract
Ta magistrska naloga raziskuje sodobne pristope k upravljanju identitet in dostopa strank (CIAM) v oblačnem okolju. Analizira izzive tradicionalnih sistemov in preučuje potencial decentraliziranih tehnologij. Delo najprej obravnava temeljne koncepte IAM in CIAM, nato pa se osredotoča na varnostne protokole in standarde. Sledi analiza implementacije CIAM rešitev v oblaku, s poudarkom na vodilnih ponudnikih. Naloga nato raziskuje decentralizirane identifikatorje (DID) in preverljive poverilnice. Osrednji del predstavlja inovativen protokol za biometrično avtentikacijo z uporabo decentraliziranega shranjevanja, ki združuje kriptografijo in tehnologijo veriženja blokov.

Title:Cloud-based CIAM identity and access management
Abstract:
This master's thesis explores modern approaches to Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) in cloud environments. It analyzes the challenges of traditional systems and examines the potential of decentralized technologies. The work first discusses the fundamental concepts of IAM and CIAM, then focuses on security protocols and standards. This is followed by an analysis of CIAM solution implementations in the cloud, emphasizing leading providers. The thesis then investigates decentralized identifiers (DIDs) and verifiable credentials. The central part presents an innovative protocol for biometric authentication using decentralized storage, combining cryptography and blockchain technology.

Keywords:customer identity and access management, decentralized identity, biometric authentication, blockchain technology
