Abstract
Semantične podatkovne baze so poseben tip grafne podatkovne baze, ki omogoča hrambo semantičnih podatkov. Namen diplomske naloge je predstavitev področja semantičnih baz in prikaz primera uporabe s konkretnimi testnimi podatki. Vsebinsko je diplomska naloga razdeljena na tri dele. V prvem delu je predstavljeno področje semantičnih baz in tehnologije, ki jih podpirajo. V drugem delu izvedemo primerjavo nekaj popularnih baz in izberemo eno, ki bo uporabljena kot primer uporabe. V tretjem delu izvedemo pretvorbo relacijskih podatkov v semantične podatke in jih uporabimo z izbrano semantično bazo. V zaključku so predstavljene ugotovitve diplomske naloge.

Title:Review and usage of graph-based databases with SPARQL support
Abstract:
Semantic databases are a special type of graph database that enable the storage of semantic data. The purpose of the thesis is to present the field of semantic databases and demonstrate an example of their use with specific test data. The thesis is divided into three parts in terms of content. The first part introduces the field of semantic databases and the technologies that support them. In the second part, we conduct a comparison of several popular databases and select one for the use case example. In the third part, we perform the conversion of relational data into semantic data and utilize them with the chosen semantic database. The conclusions of the thesis are presented in the final section.
