Mladi spadamo v mesto! Idejna zasnova stanovanj za mlade in revitalizacija na območju mestne četrti Magdalena v Mariboru.

»Stanovanjska problematika mladih« in »degradirana urbana območja« sta besedni zvezi, ki predstavljata izzive in potenciale današnjega časa in prostora. Magistrsko delo ju skuša prevesti v projektno rešitev. V nalogi je sprva opredeljen problem, nato sta obe temi raziskani. V teoriji je raziskan stanovanjski problem v Sloveniji in Mariboru ter potrebe in navade mladih in mladih družin. Kot rešitev je predlagano oblikovanje stanovanjske skupnosti. Znotraj te teme je raziskano delovanje in oblikovanje takšne oblike bivanja. Izhodišča za oblikovanje projekta se določijo s pomočjo analiz stanovanjskih skupnosti na Danskem in na Dunaju. V kontekstu izbrane lokacije se naloga sprva naveže na pomen tipičnih prostorov mesta Maribor. Skozi raziskavo prostorskih in arhitekturnih elementov območja v različnih merilih se določajo oblikovne smernice projekta. V projektnem delu je izvedena idejna zasnova revitalizacije degradiranega prostora in ponovne vzpostavitve aktivnega delovanja območja mestne četrti Magdalena v Mariboru. Zamišljen je nov prostor namenjen bivanjski skupnosti mladih in njeno povezanost z aktivnostmi, ki jih ponuja okolica in mesto.

Abstract

The »housing challenges faced by young people« and the »degradation of urban areas« are phrases that encapsulate the complexities and opportunities of our time time. This master’s thesis endeavours to translate these issues into a practical project solution. Initially, the problem is defined, followed by an in-depth exploration of both subjects. The theoretical framework delves into the housing crisis in Slovenia and Maribor, as well as the specific needs and lifestyle preferences of young individuals and young families. As a proposed solution, the development of a co-housing community is suggested. Within this context, the functioning and design principles of such living arrangements are thoroughly examined. The foundations for the project’s design are drawn from case studies of housing communities in Denmark and Vienna. In the context of the chosen location, the thesis connects to the significance of typical urban spaces in the city of Maribor. By analyzing the spatial and architectural elements of the area at various scales, design guidelines for the project are established. In the project phase, a conceptual design for the revitalization of the degraded urban landscape and the reactivation of the Magdalena district in Maribor is presented. The vision is for a newly conceived space dedicated to a co-housing community for young residents, integrated with the activities and amenities offered by the surrounding area and the city as a whole.
