Abstract
Baterijski hranilniki električne energije (BHEE) so še v zgodnji fazi uporabe v elektroenergetskem sistemu, a bodo po pričakovanjih igrali ključno vlogo pri sistemskih storitvah izravnave sistema pri čedalje večjem deležu obnovljivih virov energije. Kot sam naslov pove, je namen naloge analizirati trenutno delovanje BHEE v lasti sistemskega operaterja prenosnega omrežja (SOPO) v sklopu odprave hitrih sprememb regulacije pri povrnitvi frekvence. Omenjeno pomeni, da BHEE v lasti SOPO pokrivajo odstopanje moči, ki nastane pri aktivaciji avtomatske rezerve za povrnitev frekvence (aRPF) in s tem ne vpliva neposredno na trg. Namen diplomskega dela je ugotoviti potrebne izboljšave regulatorja BHEE v namen večje izkoriščenosti in nadgraditve programa kazalnikov uspešnosti na podlagi obratovalnih podatkov BHEE, ki se zbirajo v SCADA sistemu, s pomočjo programskih orodij MC Excel, MATLAB ter programskega jezika Python.

Title:Battery storage control for dumping of fast frequency changes
Abstract:
Battery energy storage systems (BESS) are still at an early stage of use in power grids, but they are expected to play a key role in system balancing services of the ever-increasing number of renewable energy sources. As the title itself suggests, the purpose of the task is to analyse the current operation of BESS owned by the Transmission System Operator (TSO) as part of the elimination of rapid changes that occur during frequency restoration. The mentioned means that the BESS owned by TSO cover the power deviation that occurs when the automatic frequency recovery reserve (aFRR) is activated and thus does not directly affect the market. The aim of the thesis is to determine the necessary improvements of the BESS regulator for the purpose of greater utilization and upgrading of the performance indicators program of BESS based on operational data collected in the SCADA system, with the help of MC Excel, MATLAB and Python programming language.
