Abstract
Uvod: Poslovni načrt je ključen element pri načrtovanju novega podjetja ali pri evalvaciji obstoječega. Predstavlja celosten pregled različnih poslovnih komponent od tehnologij do trženja izdelka ali storitve, pa tudi potek delovanja podjetja in predvidevanje finančnih rezultatov. Kakovosten in dober poslovni načrt služi kot orodje za »prodajo« podjetja vlagateljem, poslovnim strankam ali partnerjem in navsezadnje kupcem. Namen: Namen diplomskega dela je analizirati obstoječo literaturo, konkurenco in trg ter izdelati in predstaviti poslovni načrt za odprtje ortodontskega laboratorija OrTHoLab, d. o. o., ter na podlagi izračunov otvoritvene bilance, pregledov stroškov in analize poslovanja podjetja za naslednji dve leti ugotoviti, ali bo podjetje v prvih dveh letih poslovalo z dobičkom. Želeli smo tudi ugotoviti, ali je lahko podjetje uspešno ob ponujanju samo čeljustnoortopedskih izdelkov, saj je konkurenca svetovno znanih podjetij, kot sta Invisaligne in ClearSmile, močna. Metode dela: V diplomskem delu smo v teoretičnem delu uporabili deskriptivno metodo dela, s pregledom slovenske in angleške literature. Literaturo smo izbrali s sistemi Google Učenjak, COBISS in v različnih elektronskih bazah podatkov Republike Slovenije. Ključne besede, uporabljene za iskanje virov, so bile: poslovni načrt, podjetništvo, izdelava, nevidna ortodontska opornica. Praktični del diplomskega dela je bil izveden na Stomatološki kliniki, na Oddelku za zobno in čeljustno ortopedijo, kjer smo izdelali nevidne ortodontske opornice. Rezultati: Pripravili smo poslovni načrt za ortodontski laboratorij OrTHoLab, d. o. o., v katerem bi izdelovali izključno čeljustnoortopedske pripomočke, s poudarkom na snemnih nevidnih opornicah. Zbrali, obdelali in analizirali smo trg, na katerega bi podjetje rado prodrlo, analizirali stanje konkurence in predvideli finančne rezultate podjetja za obdobje treh let od začetka poslovanja. Razprava in zaključek: Rezultati kažejo na začetno negativno poslovanje podjetja, h kateremu največ prispeva prevelika konkurenca svetovno znanih podjetij, kot sta Invisalign in ClearCorrect, ali večjih slovenskih podjetij, kot so Interdent, VBO in Shine. Šele tretje leto bi podjetje poslovalo z dobičkom, po tem ko bi pridobilo stalne stranke in bi se cene izdelkov lahko povišale.

Title:Business plan for opening an orthodontic laboratory : diploma work
Abstract:
Introduction: A business plan is a crucial element in the planning of a newly established company or in the evaluation of an existing one. It provides a comprehensive overview of various business components, from technologies to product or service marketing, while also presenting the company's operations and financial performance expectations. A high-quality and effective business plan serves as a tool for "selling" the company to investors, business clients or partners, or ultimately customers. Purpose: The purpose of this thesis is to analyze existing literature, competition, and the market, and to develop and present a business plan for the opening of an orthodontic laboratory, OrTHoLab LLC, and based on the calculations of the opening balance sheet, cost reviews, and analysis of the company's operations for the next two years, determine whether the company will operate at a profit in the first two years. We also aim to ascertain whether the company can sustain itself by manufacturing only jaw orthopedic products, considering the competition from globally renowned companies such as Invisalign, ClearSmile, etc. Research Methods: The theoretical part of the thesis employed a descriptive research method, with a review of Slovenian and English literature. The literature selection utilized Google Scholar, COBISS, and various electronic databases of the Republic of Slovenia. Key search terms included: business plan, entrepreneurship, development, and invisible orthodontic aligners. The practical part of the thesis was conducted at the Dental Clinic, Department of Dental and Jaw Orthopedics where we manufactured invisible orthodontic aligners. Results: We developed a business plan for the orthodontic laboratory OrTHoLab LLC, focusing exclusively on manufacturing jaw orthopedic devices, with an emphasis on producing removable invisible aligners. We gathered, processed, and analyzed the market the company intends to penetrate, analyzed the competitive landscape, and projected the financial results of the company for a three-year period from the start of operations. Discussion and conclusion: The results obtained indicate an initial negative financial performance of the company, largely influenced by stiff competition from globally renowned companies such as Invisalign and ClearCorrect, or larger Slovenian companies such as Interdent, VBO, Shine, etc. Only in the third year of operation would the company operate at a profit, after establishing a customer base and potentially increasing product prices.
