Abstract
Pri obeh metodah nobena UGR vrednost ni presegla niti mejne vrednosti podane s strani proizvajalca svetilke niti vrednosti podane v standardu SIST EN 12464-1:2021. S programom DIALux sem naredil tudi izračune v stoječem položaju, katerih rezultati so presegli mejne vrednosti.

Title:The value of the unified glare rating in real conditions
Abstract:
The Unified Glare Rating (UGR) index is an important measure in the planning of indoor lighting. By understanding the UGR index, we can design a safer and healthier working environment. The most commonly used methods are the tabular UGR method and the calculation using a computer program, which in this thesis is DIALux. Each method has its advantages and disadvantages. The tabular UGR method is very easy to use without prior knowledge and can be completed in a short time. On the other hand, the calculation with a computer program is more accurate and useful for spaces of all shapes with walls of any reflectivity. The downside of using a computer program is the required knowledge of how to use the software. The tabular method is more suitable for early stages of planning and simple projects, while the computer program is better suited for detailed lighting analyses. The calculations in this thesis were performed in the premises of the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. The results of both methods did not match well, which suggested a difference in accuracy between the methods. In both methods, no UGR value exceeded the limit value set by the manufacturer of the luminaire, nor the value specified in the standard SIST EN 12464-1:2021. Using the DIALux program, I also performed calculations for standing positions, and the results exceeded the limit values. Problems arose when obtaining data about the luminaires. Since the luminaires in the selected spaces were older, I was unable to obtain photometric data files for them. Therefore, I performed all calculations with data from a luminaire of the same model but a newer generation.
