Abstract
Diplomsko delo obravnava optimizacijo že obstoječega hidravličnega ojačevalnika tlaka. Na začetku so razloženi fizikalni principi delovanja ojačevalnika, pojasnjeni pregled trga in literature. V prvem delu je nato opredeljen problem z iskanjem in nato izbiro konceptov rešitev problema. V nadaljevanju je za izbrani koncept izveden trdnostni preračun prednapete vijačne zveze in numerični preračun pokrovov ojačevalnika. Z analitičnimi in numeričnimi preračuni je potrjeno, da je izbran koncept primeren za izvedbo. Po izvedbi koncepta rešitve je bilo delovanje ojačevalnika preizkušeno še v laboratoriju, kjer je pri preizkušanju karakteristik ojačevalnik deloval po pričakovanjih brez težav, medtem ko je med trajnostnim testom prišlo do loma batnice ojačevalnika. Na koncu so predstavljeni predlogi za nadaljnje delo.

Title:Optimisation of the exsisting pressure intensifier
Abstract:
This thesis focuses on the optimization of an existing hydraulic pressure intensifier. It begins with an explanation of the physical principles behind the intensifier’s operation, along with a review of relevant literature and market analysis. The problem is then defined, followed by the identification and selection of potential solution concepts. For the selected concept, a strength analysis of the pre-tensioned bolted joint and a numerical analysis of the intensifier’s covers were conducted. Both analytical and numerical calculations confirmed the feasibility of the chosen concept. The intensifier’s performance was subsequently tested in a laboratory, where it operated as expected during the functional tests. However, a failure occurred to the piston rod during the durability test. The thesis concludes with suggestions for future work.
