Abstract
Magistrsko delo obravnava analizo kakovosti uporabniške izkušnje nekaterih najpopularnejših ponudnikov za ogled video vsebin na zahtevo. Z razvojem tehnologije in naraščanjem števila tovrstnih ponudnikov postajajo ključni vidiki uporabniške izkušnje vse pomembnejši za zadovoljstvo uporabnikov. V delu smo analizirali več ponudnikov na slovenskem trgu, in sicer Netflix, Max, Disney+, Prime Video in Voyo, ter preverili, kakšno uporabniško izkušnjo nudijo svojim uporabnikom. Pri analizi smo uporabili objektivne in subjektivne metode, ki vključujejo različne meritve zakasnitev, preverjanje ustreznosti hevristikam načrtovanja ter vprašalnik o uporabniški izkušnji. Najpomembnejši prispevek naloge je analiza trenutnega stanja uporabniške izkušnje na področju video vsebin na zahtevo ter identifikacija najboljših praks za njeno optimizacijo, kot sta na primer konsistentno oblikovanje vmesnikov in prilagoditev vsebine za zagotovitev dostopnosti. Med vsemi analiziranimi ponudniki se je Netflix izkazal kot najbolj uspešen, predvsem zaradi celovite dostopnosti, hitrih odzivnih časov in doslednega sledenja hevristikam.

Title:Quality of user experience for on-demand video services
Abstract:
This master's thesis analyses the quality of the user experience of some of the most popular providers of video-on-demand content. With the development of technology and the increasing number of such providers, key aspects of the user experience are becoming increasingly important for user satisfaction. In our research, we analysed several providers on the Slovenian market, namely Netflix, Max, Disney+, Prime Video and Voyo, to see what kind of user experience they offer their users. In our analysis, we used both objective and subjective methods, including various latency metrics, an analysis of the use of heuristics and a user experience questionnaire. The main contribution of this work is the analysis of the current state of the user experience in the field of video-on-demand content and the identification of best practises to optimise it, such as consistent interface design and the adaptation of content for people with different disabilities. Of all the providers analysed, Netflix proved to be the most successful, mainly due to its comprehensive accessibility, fast response times and consistent adherence to heuristics.
