Abstract
Kolpa, ki je desni pritok Save, je 292 km dolga reka. Izvira v Gorskem Kotarju (Hrvaška) od koder teče v smeri vzhoda in jugovzhoda in predstavlja 113 km dolgo naravno mejo med Slovenijo in Hrvaško. Površina celotnega porečja znaša okoli 10.000 km2, povpreč-na nadmorska višina porečja pa je 376 m. Reka teče skozi 6 občin, kar 8 pa jih pred-stavlja njeno vodno zaledje. Po toku prejme številna onesnaževala iz gospodinjstev, industrije in kmetijstev, kar relevantno vpliva na njeno kakovost. V diplomskem delu sem analizirala rezultate meritev, ki jih izvaja ARSO [Agencija Repu-blike Slovenije za okolje] za izbrane parametre. Poleg treh merilnih mest na Kolpi sem zajela še eno merilno mesto na Čabranki, eno na Lahinji in eno na Krupi. Vzorčenje na teh merilnih mestih se izvaja od 2007 naprej. Ugotavljamo, da se s časom kakovost vod bistveno ni spreminjala, opazimo lahko le postopno izboljševanje stanja na reki Krupi, ki je zaradi preteklih obremenitev, onesnažena s PCB.

Title:Analysis of Kolpa River’s water quality
Abstract:
The Kolpa River, which is the right tributary of the Sava, is 292 km long. It originates in Gorski Kotar (Croatia), flowing in the east and southeast direction, and representing a 113 km long natural border between Slovenia and Croatia. The area of the entire ba-sin is around 10,000 km2, and the average altitude of the basin is 376 m. The river flows through 6 municipalities and it represents the hinterland of 8 municipalities in total. Many pollutants from surrounding households, and industry and agriculture plants, enter its stream, which has a significant impact on its quality. In my thesis, I analyzed the results of measurements carried out by ARSO [The Sloveni-an Environment Agency] for the selected parameters. In addition to the three measur-ing points on Kolpa, I covered another measuring point on Čabranka, one on Lahinja and one on Krupa. Sampling at these measuring points has been carried out since 2007. We note that the water quality has not changed significantly over time and can only observe a gradual improvement in the condition of the Krupa River, which is polluted with PCBs due to previous loads.
