In this thesis, we present the archaeological site of Palovče-Kratna and its surroundings,
spanning the period from the Neolithic to the Early Iron Age. The chapter "Topography of
Kamnik and its Surroundings" is followed by a catalog of prehistoric sites in the area, with an
emphasis on Bronze Age and Iron Age sites. The core part of the thesis focuses on the
processing of field data, the analysis of ceramic material, and the interpretation of the site,
along with its placement in the wider region. The ceramic finds, which were obtained in
2003, have not yet been archaeologically evaluated. The thesis concludes with an attempt to
date the site by comparing the ceramic material with other sites in the surrounding area.
