Introduction: Dental fluorosis is a condition that occurs when the tooth enamel is overexposed to fluoride. High concentrations of fluoride affect enamel-forming cells called ameloblasts, which cause disruption of enamel development. Children up to the age of eight are most at risk. Dental fluorosis can occur due to several different factors. Treatment of dental fluorosis focuses on improving the aesthetics of the teeth and reducing any symptoms. Options include aesthetic treatments such as tooth whitening, polishing, application of dental scales or coatings . Purpose: In this theoretical work, we wanted to present a developmental disorder of tooth enamel called dental fluorosis. The aim of the practical part is to demonstrate the conventional fabrication of whitening films, the digital fabrication of whitening films and the digital fabrication of scales. Methods: The first step in writing the thesis was to review the literature on dental Queresis. The literature was searched in English in the search databases Eubed and ScienceDirect. The search was limited to literature older than 10 years and one article older than 10 years was used because of the relevance of the material. Results: We have illustrated and written the processes of making bleaching foil in a conventional and digital way, and described and illustrated the production of the scales from model making, scanning, modelling and final glazing. Discussion and conclusion: The geographical distribution of dental quorosis reflects the complex relationship between natural conditions, such as the fluoride content of water, and the exposure of people to this mineral. In Slovenia we have regular nasal fluoride control and not water, salt or soap fluesirama. as it is possible to do this after stethoscopy, so we are not so susceptible to this disease.
