We optimized four experiments, which had already been conducted as part of laboratory courses for compulsory and elective subjects at the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology, University of Ljubljana. We expanded the range of reagents for these coordination chemistry-related experiments to allow a more individualized approach for students. We optimized the conditions for the syntheses and developed several new experiments that can be integrated into these courses. The synthesized compounds were analyzed by nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR), high-resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS), and CHN elemental analysis.
