Abstract
V diplomski nalogi je predstavljen spletni sistem oz. spletna aplikacija za rezervacijo vstopnic. Zastavljen problem izhaja iz lastnih izkušenj, saj se zelo radi udeležujemo koncertov, ki imajo običajno omejeno število kart, saj dvorane sprejmejo le določeno število ljudi hkrati. Največji problem se pojavi pri rezervacijah, ko karte že izberemo in se odločimo za nakup, potem pa ugotovimo, da je bila mogoče karta, ki smo jo želeli, prodana, – kot pravimo "ravno pred našim nosom", ali pa pride do težav, da je v primeru slabih sistemov ista karta prodana tudi večkrat, kar pripelje do velikih zmešnjav na koncertu. Z namenom preprečiti takšne neljube dogodke smo izdelali sistem rezervacij vstopnic, ki temelji na spreminjanju stanja sedežev v realnem času. Če je torej sedež izbran, rezerviran ali pa kupljen s strani stranke, se te spremembe v spletni aplikaciji odražajo v stvarnem času. S tem že v samem začetku preprečimo, da bi prihajalo do prej omenjenih problemov, saj se stanja sedežev tako funkcionalno kot tudi vizualno ažurno spreminjajo.

Title:Development of an online ticketing system
Abstract:
The thesis presents an online system, or rather a web application, for ticket reservations. The problem we set out to address stems from our own experi- ences of an avid concert-goer. These events typically have a limited number of tickets available, as venues can only accommodate a certain number of people at a time. The biggest issue arises during the reservation process – when tickets are selected, and a purchase is about to be made, only to find out that the ticket we wanted has been sold "right under our nose." Alter- natively, there can be situations where, due to poor system design, the same ticket is sold multiple times, leading to significant confusion at the event. To prevent such unfortunate incidents, we developed a ticket reservation system that operates by updating seat statuses in real time. Thus, when a seat is selected, reserved, or purchased by a customer, these changes are reflected in the web application immediately. This ensures that from the very start, the aforementioned problems are avoided, as the seat statuses are updated both functionally and visually in real time
