Abstract
V magistrskem delu sem si zadala nalogo prikazati izbrano znanstveno vsebino skozi medij stripa.

Title:Fossils of Slovenia in a comic
Abstract:
In my master's thesis, I set out to present a selected scientific topic through the medium of comics. In the theoretical part, I will focus on the genre of scientific comics, analyze existing examples, and compare them with each other. I will explore how they approach the selected scientific content, the visual approaches and forms of illustration they use, and the balance between imaginative and factual elements. In the practical part, I will create my own comic, which will cover themes from the field of paleontology, specifically fossils found in the Tunjice Hills area. The aim of the master's thesis is to present a selected scientific topic in an interesting and understandable way through the medium of comics. The target audience for the product would be teenagers, specifically high school students, and anyone who is curious. Throughout the research process and the creation of my own comic, I will also consider the advantages and disadvantages of this medium in communicating scientific content. Personally, I believe that comics have great potential in this regard.
