Abstract
Diplomska naloga obravnava problematiko prometnih zastojev na križišču Pot za Brdom in Tehnološki park v Ljubljani, kjer zastoji in varnostna tveganja predstavljajo veliko problematiko, zlasti med prometnimi konicami. V uvodnem delu so analizirane trenutne prometne obremenitve ter opisani glavni prometni problemi v križišču. Sledita pregled in opis predlaganih rešitev za izboljšanje prepustnosti in prometne varnosti. S pomočjo programa SIDRA Intersection je izvedena kapacitetna analiza opisanih variant za tekoče leto, ter za 10-letni načrtovani prirastek prometa. Na podlagi te analize so v zaključku primerjane različne rešitve križišča, pri čemer so podani jasni argumenti za izbor najučinkovitejše rešitve.

Title:Capacity analysis and design proposal for the intersection of Pot za Brdom and Tehnološki Park in Ljubljana
Abstract:
The thesis addresses the issue of traffic congestion at the intersection of Pot za Brdom and Tehnološki park in Ljubljana, where delays and safety risks pose significant challenges, especially during peak traffic hours. The introductory section analyses current traffic loads and outlines the main traffic issues at the intersection. A review and description of proposed solutions for improving traffic flow and safety follow. Using the SIDRA Intersection software, a capacity analysis was conducted for the proposed solutions, both for the current year and for a 10-year forecasted traffic growth. Based on this analysis, the conclusion compares the different intersection solutions, providing clear arguments for selecting the most effective option.
