In my thesis, I explore the concept of the sublime and the related elements of light, darkness, and space.
A space with its rich history, which I have chosen and redesigned, gains a new meaning at the exhibition. With the added entrance, it receives a beginning and an end. The
lights provide ambient illumination, but they are much more than that. It almost seems as though the space breathes at dusk and comes alive at night. The subdued light evokes the
atmosphere of sacred spaces, where time seems to stand still, allowing visitors to transcend
the surface and explore the deeper realms of themselves and the world.
The created space contrasts with the life visible across the street, offering visitors a
place for contemplation or simply a peaceful stroll. My intention was to create a space where
everyone can discover their inner peace.
