Alpacas hill is a complementary activity at the Novak Farm where visitors can learn about alpacas and take them for walks. To differentiate from other tourist offerings and enhance recognition, the idea of establishing a visual identity for Alpacas hill was conceived.
This paper explores the needs of the contemporary tourist and the visual identity of a tourist destination. We present the clients of Alpacas hill, their beginnings, current status, and their desires and expectations. Based on our findings, we designed the fundamental elements of the visual identity and integrated them into printed materials, information boards, maps, promotional materials, and other applications. To further familiarize visitors with alpacas and their characteristics, we have included felted alpaca wool in some of the printed materials.
