Doktor Glas: strip po romanu

V diplomskem delu sem se ukvarjala s problematiko adaptacije literarnega dela v medij stripa. Sprva sem se lotila umestitve stripa v kontekst polja ilustracije, potem pa sem raziskovala zgodovino stripa in vlogo literarnih adaptacij v njej. Iskala sem prednosti in pomanjkljivosti stripovskih adaptacij, jih nekaj primerjala, na koncu pa sem predstavila svoj pristop k temi. Adaptirati sem se odločila švedsko klasiko Doktor Glas avtorja Hjalmarja Söderberga iz leta 1905. Na koncu sem evaluirala svoj poskus in se do njega kritično opredelila.

• Title: Doctor Glas: a comic based on a novel

Abstract

In my bachelor's thesis, I have researched adaptations of literary works into the medium of comics. Firstly, I placed comics into the context of the field of illustration. Later on I went into the history of comics and the role of literary adaptations in it. I looked for the advantages and disadvantages of comic book adaptations, compared some of them, and in the end I presented my own approach to the topic. I decided to adapt the Swedish classic Doctor Glas by author Hjalmar Söderberg from 1905. Lastly, I evaluated my attempt and approached it critically.
