Abstract
Raziskovala bom proces in metodologijo oblikovanja video igre.

Title:
Concept art for a video game set in a post-apocalyptic world
Abstract:
I chose video game concept illustration design because I find the video game design process very interesting and worth exploring. I am especially interested in a video game as a storytelling medium. I chose this topic because I want to draw attention to the psychological aspect of experiencing horror in a world where there is a lack of resources necessary for survival. I will delve into the realm of fiction, conceptual illustration. I will explore various authors who create in this field. I will also research the process and methodology of video game design. I will develop a specific image of the characters, space and various objects that will appear in the game. The environment of the designed video game will be post-apocalyptic, as I believe that in today's age of atomic bombs and environmental degradation; we are the closest to this pessimistic future. In my thesis, I will focus on different types of video games, especially horror games and their factor of expressing horror. I will also research how to successfully mix digital and traditional techniques. I will create a publication in which my vision of the post-apocalypticworld will be represented through various concept illustrations. I will be interested to see if the stylization and abstraction in the rendering of game elements can contribute to the perception of reality or an increased sense of horror.
