The graduation thesis presents the process of creating an orienteering map in the vicinity of Šmarje
Sap at a scale of 1: 7,500. The map covers an area of 1 km2. The goal is to analyze in detail the process
of making an orienteering map, using the data of the Zenmuse L1 lidar and RGB mapping camera
installed on the DJI Matrix drone and to compare the final map with the map made on the basis of the
data of the Laser Scanning of Slovenia. The map will comply with international regulations
ISOM2017 - 2 and will thus be able to be used for training and competitions at the national and
international level.
