Abstract
Ocene so rezultat kabinetnega, terenskega in laboratorijskega dela.

Title:Assessment of the amount of carbon sequestered in the soil and vegetation of Kum's forest ecosystems
Abstract:
The aim of this work is to assess the absolute amount of carbon sequestered in soil organic matter and aboveground biomass in an area of Kum and to estimate the annual carbon sequestration capacity. To achieve this, we use and demonstrate accessible methods that do not require specialized equipment. With such an assessment, one can better understand the function of soil and plant biomass as a carbon reserve and the impacts that arise when such ecosystems are disturbed or destroyed, even if only small areas are affected. The result consists of two separate assessments, one for soil carbon and one for carbon in plant biomass, as well as an assessment of annual carbon uptake. The assessments are the result of research, field work and laboratory analyses.
