Jakob Filip Repež was one of numerous Slovenian lay songbook writers of the 18th century. He published three songbooks. The greatest popularity in terms of the number of editions was achieved by his last one Romarsku drugu blagu. It contains 25 poems, which can be (according to their central theme) divided into five groups: poems about Christ's passion, poems about God's love, poems about the miracles on Križna gora, examples and poems about spiritual life.
