In this master's thesis, I'm analyzing the following novels: Materinska knjižica by Katja Gorečan, Pričakovanja by Anja Mugerli and Težka voda by Pia Prezelj. All authors belong to the younger generation of female Slovenian writers, their work is united by the tendency to reveal taboos concerning female body. In order to better understand how the aforementioned authors approach this challenge, I analyzed their novels from three different perspectives concerning: body, story and engaged literature.
