Abstract
V nalogi so preučevani vedenjski vzorci konfliktnega medveda z imenom Rožnik, kateri so primerjani z nekonfliktnimi medvedi.

Abstract:
In this study were analyzed the behavioural patterns of a conflict bear named 'Rožnik' which are compared with non-conflict bears. Study was made within theresearch project (2008-2011) "The study of factors of habituation brown bears to humans through the use of GPS telemetry." Implemented was the capture of 33 bears and equipped them with GPS collars to record their movement and activity, and conducted an inventory of microhabitat characteristics of the sites where these bears were located. Analysis showed that behaviour of bear Rožnik in many ways was differed from the other bears. Rožnik was more active, especially during the day, often approached human settlements and was not avoiding the proximity of humans. Such behaviour of tenleads to an increased number of meetings with the man, and increased human-bear conflicts. Increased conflicts in a particular area are often attributed to (too) high bear densities. However, higher conflict rate may be also due to a small number of bears with the changed behaviour, as has been the case with bear Rožnik.
