Abstract
Posledi čno lahko dobimo var z bolj homogeno mikrostrukturo, 200 % manjšo poroznostjo in boljšimi mehanskimi lastnostmi.

Title:Effect of vibrations on microstructural anisotropy and mechanical properties of wire arc additive manufactured aluminium alloy
Abstract:
The demand for lightweight materials with good mechanical properties is increasing. Accordingly, manufacturing technologies are also rapidly developing, aiming to achieve the best possible quality at the lowest possible production costs. Additive technologies, which offer numerous simplifications in the production of complex geometric products, are on the rise. The WAAM process, despite its advantages, also has certain weaknesses. Issues include the control of melt cooling, higher porosity, anisotropy of the microstructure, and consequently poorer mechanical properties of the product. An advanced method of manufacturing metal products is represented by the CMT process, during which vibrations are simultaneously applied to the product. These effectively influence the mechanisms of microstructure formation, accelerate the degassing of the melt, and reduce material anisotropy. Consequently, we can obtain a weld with more homogeneous microstructure, 200 % less porosity, and better mechanical properties.
