Abstract
V magistrski nalogi smo raziskovali optimizacijo stroškov prototipnih tlačnih ulitkov z uporabo alternativnih tehnologij rezanja. Preučili smo dve tehnologiji, laserski in abrazivi vodni rez, ter izvedli analizo njihove rentabilnosti in primernosti za prototipne serije. Rezultati so pokazali, da je laserski rez cenovno bolj ugoden za male in srednje serije, medtem ko ostaja hidravlična stiskalnica boljša izbira za velike serije. Na podlagi zbranih podatkov smo razvili program, ki omogoča enostavno izbiro optimalnega postopka rezanja glede na specifične potrebe podjetja.

Title:Cost optimization of prototype die castings by introducing alternative technologies
Abstract:
In this master's thesis, we explored the cost optimization of prototype pressure castings using alternative cutting technologies. We examined two technologies, laser cutting and abrasive water jet cutting, and conducted an analysis of their profitability and suitability for prototype series. The results showed that laser cutting is more cost-effective for the small and medium series, while the hydraulic press remains the better choice for large series. Based on the collected data, we developed a program that allows easy selection of the optimal cutting process according to the specific needs of the company.
