Abstract
V pri ujoem delu je prikazan razvoj pametnega zalivalnega sistema na osnovi ESP-MESH protokola, ki je namenjen za uporabo v komercialne namene in prilagojen za obliko kmetovanja »market gardening«. Cilj tega diplomskega dela je razviti prototip robustnega pametnega zalivalnega sistema, ki bo zmanjbal vplive spreminjajoega se podnebja na pridelovanje zelenjave. V za etnih poglavjih je prikazana primerjava in izbira vseh komponent ter tehnologij pametnega zalivalnega sistema. Diplomska naloga nato predstavlja celoten razvoj zalivalnega sistema, od upravljalne enote s po meri narejenim tiskanim vezjem, kjer uporabnik preko modernega uporabnibkega vmesnika vnaba podatke, do strojne opreme, kot so ventili in senzorji, ki so povezani s krmilno enoto, prav tako s po meri narejenim tiskanim vezjem, ki skrbi za krmiljenje ve jega btevila senzorjev in ventilov. Projekt lahko ocenimo kot uspeben, saj so rezultati testiranja pokazali, da zalivalni sistem deluje pri akovano, z doseganjem vseh zastavljenih ciljev. Po nekoliko temeljitejbem testiranju pa se je izkazalo, da ostaja nekaj kljunih mo~nosti za izboljbave, kot je priklju itev sistema na splet in upravljanje na daljavo.

Title:Development of a Smart Irrigation System Based on the ESP-MESH Networking Protocol
Abstract:
In this work, the development of a smart irrigation system based on the ESP_MESH network is presented, intended for commercial use and adapted to the form of farming known as market gardening. The aim of this thesis is to develop a prototype of a robust smart irrigation system that will mitigate the effects of changing climate on vegetable production. In the introductory chapters, a comparison and selection of all components of the smart irrigation system are shown. The thesis then presents the entire development of the irrigation system, from the control unit with a custom-made printed circuit board, where the user inputs data via a modern user interface, to hardware such as valves and sensors, to the control unit, also with a custom-made printed circuit board, which manages a larger number of sensors and valves. In the conclusion, the thesis presents the test results and the challenges of the development, where we also evaluate the success of the project itself and the possibilities for improvement.
