Abstract
Predmet diplomske naloge so geotehnične analize nasipa suhega zadrževalnika Pradisjol, katerega funkcija bo izboljšanje poplavne varnosti na povodju reke Badaševice v Mestni občini Koper. Cilj diplomske naloge je bil izvesti laboratorijske preiskave odvzetih vzorcev zemljin z območja zadrževalnika, rezultate primerjati z arhivskimi rezultati terenskih in laboratorijskih preiskav, določiti sestavo tal, materialne parametre zemljin in izvesti geotehnično analizo zadrževalnega nasipa. V okviru laboratorijskih preiskav smo na preizkušancih iz vzorcev, odvzetih na območju zadrževalnika, opravili preiskave za klasifikacijo zemljin, preiskave stisljivosti in vodoprepustnosti. Na podlagi opravljenih preiskav in primerjave rezultatov z arhivskimi podatki, smo določili mehanske lastnosti zemljin in izvršili geotehnično analizo nasipa suhega zadrževalnika. Slednja je obsegala določitev modela tal, izračun posedkov in konsolidacije temeljnih tal pod nasipom, ter izračun stabilnosti zadrževalnega nasipa. Geotehnične analize so potrdile ustreznost predvidene zasnove zadrževalnega nasipa. Računska analiza posedkov in konsolidacije tal, izvedena s programskim orodjem Setlle3D, je pokazala zmerne posedke in zadovoljiv časovni potek konsolidacije. Analiza stabilnosti, ki smo jo izvedli s programskim orodjem Slide2, je pokazala ustrezno računsko varnost zadrževalnega nasipa v statičnih pogojih in v primeru potresa.

Title:Geotechnical analyses for the dry retention basin Pradisjol : graduation thesis
Abstract:
The subject of this work is the geotechnical analysis of the Pradisjol dry retention basin embankment, whose function will be to improve flood safety in the Badaševice catchment area in the Municipality of Koper. The aim of the work was to carry out laboratory tests on soil samples from the area of the retention basin, to compare the results with archived field and laboratory tests, to determine the soil composition and material parameters and to carry out a geotechnical analysis of the structure. As part of the laboratory investigations, we carried out soil classification, compressibility and permeability tests on samples from the area of the retention basin. On the basis of these tests and by comparing the results with archive data, the mechanical properties of the soils were determined, which are decisive for the definition of the soil model, and a geotechnical analysis of the structure was carried out. This analysis included the definition of the soil model, the calculation of the settlements and consolidation of the foundation soils and the evaluation of the stability of the retention embankment. The geotechnical analyses confirmed the suitability of the proposed design for the retention embankment. The ground settlement and consolidation analysis, performed with Settle3D software, showed moderate settlements and a satisfactory consolidation progression. The stability analysis carried out with the Slide2 software showed adequate safety under static conditions and in seismic events.
