Abstract
V magistrskem delu pišem o udejanjanju otrokovega glasu v procesu podpore in pomoči.

Title:Implementation of the Child's Voice in the Process of Support and Help from the View of Social Workers on Social Work Centers
Abstract:
In my Master thesis I write about the implementation of the child's voice in the process of support and help. A child is perceived differently in society today than it used to be. Nowadays we understand childhood as a special life period in human development and we perceive the child as a competent person. In social work we see the child as an active co-creator in process support and help as they can, because of their experiences contribute their important part to solution. Social workers need to create an opportunity for the child to be heard and used in the process of support and help. I researched the experiences of social workers with implementing the child's voice at social work centers. I conducted a partially standardized interview with them. I was interested in their experiences, what knowledge they already have, how they include and take into account the child's opinion in the conversation and also what additional competences they might need in order to be able to include and implement the child’s voice even more Research showed that the role of social workers in implementing children voice is complex as it includes support in various areas of the child's life, establishing trust and coordinating assistance in the child's interest. When collaborating with children who have difficulty expressing their thoughts and needs, social workers use various creative methods. It is crucial that social workers consistently protect the child's voice when participating with family. The objection for them is establishing a relationship, maintaining emotional stability and offering support to a child with traumatic experiences.
