Abstract
Napredna tehnologija in digitalizacija sta obogatili družbo in gospodarstvo.

Title:CYBER SECURITY ONBOARD SHIPS
Abstract:
Technology and digitalisation have enriched society and the economy. Automatisation of processes eliminates manual labour and brings new levels of comfort and fun. At the same time, it is generating new opportunities for abuse by malicious threat actors. In 2025, the cost of damage caused to individuals, the economy and society is expected to exceed the gross domestic product of the world's third largest economy. Despite cyber security being an everyday topic, the number of attacks and the damage they cause are growing continuously. This diploma thesis will give an overview of the development of the modern ship, its vulnerabilities and how it can manage them. A further overview of maritime cyber risks and threats will be provided including training of seafarers on cyber risk management.
