Abstract
Prvi del naloge opisuje na splošno ro-ro ladje in njihove značilnosti, karakteristike, zgodovino in klasifikacijo.

Title:MANEUVERING WITH VEHICLE TRANSPORTNG SHIPS - PCC AND PCTC
Abstract:
The thesis is written in such a way as to present the maneuvering characteristics/maneuvering abilities of Ro-Ro ships, especially PCC and PCTC. The assignment is divided into 5 chapters, but each chapter is divided into smaller sub-chapters. The first part of the assignment describes ro-ro ships in general and their features, characteristics, history, and classification. The second part of the assignment focuses on propulsion. Maneuvering is not possible without propulsion, as it is the basis for maneuvering. The third part of the task presents the importance of the process of loading and unloading cargo and its influence on stability and maneuverability. Incorrectly secured cargo can greatly affect the stability of the ship and thus the maneuverability. The third part also deals with the impact of bad weather on stability. The fourth part describes various maneuvering methods and auxiliary systems that can help us when landing or setting sail. The fifth part presents the process of managing the navigational watch and the duties of the crew. For the ship to have adequate maneuverability and sail safely, the crew must be prepared and have a well-planned navigation.
