The aim of the thesis is to design and render a three-dimensional model of a children's balance bike for promotional purposes as printed paper in the form of a leaflet and in augmented reality, without the physical production of the product.
The theoretical part describes the history of the first balance bike and its inventor, as well as the history of the modern children's balance bike. The concept of computer graphics and 3D modeling, basic elements, techniques and work with the help of 3D modeling are explained. Practical examples show the areas where this technique is already used and how it makes everyday work easier.
The experimental part includes the presentation of the Autodesk Maya program, in which 3D modeling and rendering of the balance bike was made. A plug-in from SimLab SOFT, Maya USDZ Exporter, is introduced, with which the model of the balance bike was adapted for display in augmented reality. The programs Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Firely were also presented, where post-production and promotional material - leaflet were created.
The entire process of modeling individual parts of the balance bike is described in detail. Approaches and solutions to the respective problems are described, as well as texturing and final rendering of the model. Post-production and graphic design of promotional material are described.
The result of the work is eight renderings of the balance bike from different angles, conversion of the 3D model into USDZ format for use in augmented reality and graphically designed promotional material - a leaflet. The leaflet shows all the renderings, adds technical data and accompanying text about the balance bike, and a QR code containing a link to augmented reality.
