Abstract
V magistrskem delu z naslovom Oblikovanje ženske kolekcije Vestern prostega sloga sta predstavljena proces in rezultat oblikovanja ready-to-wear kolekcije oblačil. Za izhodišče sem vzela kavbojske podrobnosti in hip hop gibanje iz 90. let prejšnjega stoletja. V prvem poglavju teoretičnega dela sem raziskovala kavbojske in hip hop podrobnosti oblačenja z zgodovinskega in kulturnega vidika. Drugi del naloge sem posvetila sodobnim interpretacijam in trajnostnemu pristopu mrtvih zalog. Zasnova eksperimentalnega dela je proces izdelave ready-to-wear kolekcije za pomlad/poletje. Izdelana oblačila so rezultat eksperimentalne metode. Navdih sem dobila iz ikoničnih elementov in hip hop subkulture, kot ključen trajnostni pristop pa sem uporabila materiale mrtvih zalog podjetij Tekstina in Inpleta.

Title:Designing womenswear collection Western freestyle
Abstract:
Master's thesis Designing womenswear collection Western freestyle is presented the process and result of designing a "ready-to-wear" clothing collection. With a starting point in the cowboy details and jeans of the hip-hop movement from the 1990s until the turn of the century. In first chapter of the theoretical part, I researched cowboy and hip hop clothing details from a historical and cultural point of view. I devoted the second segment to modern interpretations and a sustainable approach with dead stocks. The design of the experimental work is the process of creating a "ready-to-wear" collection for spring/summer. Produced garments are the result of an experimental method. I was inspired by the iconic elements of the cowboy and hip hop subculture. As a concluded sustainable approach is the use of materials from the dead stocks of Tekstina and Inplet.
